Dave used to draw a webcomic back home, so I guess that is why that is his power. And Rose took up knitting a while ago. With my powers I can only fuse two things at a time, so Dave drew the brain and Rose knit a flower that smelled like apples and stuff. So we fused those, and then we fused the flower-brain with a seashell to preserve it, and then Dave had a ring Rose made him earlier that lights up when you tap it twice, so we fused those together before combining the light-up shell-flower-brain with a stand.

[This is stupidity at its finest. It would make more sense for it to run on ideas tbh.] It wasn't a lot of light, but it definitely worked. I am not entirely sure of Rose's magical limitations but if anyone can figure out magic it's Rose. And Dave will figure out how to draw stuff the longer we are here. [The clear thing here is that John is very pleased and proud of his friends. His powers are sort of "whatever" for him, but combined with his friends? They can do awesome stuff.]
