YoRHa unit 9S here with some updates for you guys.

I've gathered some map data for the western stretch of the island, and I can transmit that to anybody who needs it. There're a few points of interest, like some white strawberries that grow around here, that sort of thing. In addition to that I've parsed my data on traps and fishing if anyone wants that information.

And as a follow-up to my last communication about projects to work on around here:
☑ Compiled data on Old World hydroelectric facilities for Dirk's review.
☑ Prototype rifle for a guy who thinks my goggles are weird. Didn't catch your name. Lalli.
☑ Portable light units for anyone who can use them. You can wear these, so they're hands-free.
☑ Larger light units for housing. I've got some of these set aside for Geir, but there's extra.
☑ Timepiece for Jay.
☑ Prototype holsters for Jake. You'll have to let me know if these fit right.
☒ House repairs ongoing.

Let me know where I can drop this stuff off for you guys. And any supplies around here would be pretty useful for more building, especially since there's nothing much by way of technology around here. The more I've got to work with, the more I should be able to do.

Maintenance is also one of my functions, so if there're repairs to do, let me know.

[Jude, fibbing about wanting naps...]

[ great, now he's embarrassed... he supposes he deserves it. ]

... Would it make you happy if I tried to nap for real?

After that bit about sleep deprivation, I think you've kind of got a moral obligation here.

[Now the real question is whether he's serious or not]

[ jude can usually tell, but this time he has no idea. ]

Fine. Nap.

[ instead of laying his head on 9s' chest, on their sides like this, he can just sort of squirm into his arms and be held. it's a natural arrangement, one that feels just right to him.

with his arms wrapped around 9s, he probably couldn't get closer or more comfortable if he tried. ]

Will you sleep with me?

How else am I gonna make sure you actually get some sleep?

[Although in reality, 9S just doesn't want to go anywhere at the moment, excuses are convenient things. He likes spending time with Jude too, and as much is assuredly obvious, not to mention there's something warm and comforting about being close like this.

But he's known that much for some time now]

[ jude stretches and yawns before settling in 9s' arms, eyes fluttering closed. he is rather tired, his body heavy.

he allows his eyes to flicker shut, but that doesn't stop him from talking quietly. ]

You don't mind letting me spend the night every once in awhile?

You sure ask some silly questions, Jude.

[Why would he ever mind something like that? His tone says this, even as he doesn't.

Jude gets along with 2B, and he doubts A2 would have a problem with it, so there's nothing to stop him surely]

Mm.

[ it's unclear whether that small sound is an agreement or a disagreement, but he's already starting to slip. ]
