[While everyone else is off freaking out about zombies and ghosts, at least one person seems to be enjoying the supernatural abundance. Granted, she's learned to not mess with the zombie boars and it's taken her a while to rid the area of the more malicious spirits, but otherwise she seems to be enjoying the company of a number of ghostly figures, some off minding their own business walking through walls, others waving cheerfully as she broadcasts, the shadows of the trees lit by candles while in clearer patches of sky the unnaturally close moon shines brightly.]

Well, I know that calendars and holidays probably mean nothing in another world, but by my calculations, it feels like we're finally getting into the right mood for the season. [She chuckles darkly... then spins about, letting her cape flare. She's dressed in orange and black - clearly she made sure to stock herself an ample wardrobe back on Aimintas. When she finishes spinning, she poses cutely with thumb and little finger out] But, but! Even if we're getting in the mood, we've still got a long ways to go before we can have a Happy Halloween! So Cagliostro needs help from all of you who aren't too busy being dead or dying!

[Pose change! She puts her hands together, fingers and thumbs circled in an oval shape that may or may not be considered pumpkin-shaped.]

Have any of you seen any pumpkins around here? The vegetable or flying kind!

There's definitely easier materials you could transmute into gold, but basically. It's the deconstruction and reconstruction of matter into other forms.

Yeah, you're telling me. "Pain in the butt" is one way to describe going from the most powerful alchemist in all the sky to what basically amounts to a little girl who's bad at running.

Well, if you wanna get better at running, you're talking to the right guy...

Whatever I want, basically. Mostly pursuing research - I know all there was to know in that realm, so my main interests were the Astral and Otherworld realms, and things that have their origin there. I'd joined a crew of skyfarers just because they had a rather interesting member with them...

Researching other realms, huh... Didja ever hear about anything like this place, or magic energy vibrations?

[ he has to ask, even though he's guessing he knows the answer. ]

No. As far as I know, magic still functions in the Astral realm and the Otherworld. Different kinds, but nothing like this where your powers would stop functioning. Nor did I hear about people coming from yet other realms.

Yeah, that's what I figured. But really? You never heard about people from other dimensions? I'm not even a researcher, and I've met plenty of people in other realms!

No, no, having two mythic realms beyond your own world is weird enough [Though the the Astral Realm was fact and there was lately mounting evidence of the Otherworld] and getting visits from them even weirder. It's not normal to have people crossing dimensions like that, those kind of barriers aren't the sort of thing you can just poke a hole in or ride a ship through.

I'll believe that. I think most people never meet anyone from other realms... There's just this pesky Doctor back where I'm from who can't seem to resist tearing holes in reality and summoning elder gods or whatever. And I'm the one who always has to clean up his mess.

I'd applaud his curiosity but he should learn to clean up his own messes - or are you the part of his retinue that does that?

No, I mean, I think you'd know better than to let him get away with it again. Obviously if he tried it once, he's going to want to do it again. I'd be tempted myself if I could open up portals to whole other worlds.

Hey, I don't know how to open any portals. That stuff's way over my head! I'm just doing things my way. And so far, it's been working pretty well.

If he keeps making messes for you, clearly it's not. Just lock him up or off him already.

But it's kinda fun squashing his evil plans. I like a bit of exercise!

Don't you have anything better to do? It sounds pretty risky to let him do that just because you're bored.

Hey, I'm just an adventurer who happens to not like it when bad guys hurt innocent people. If he's putting people in danger, I'll just stop him like I always do. You're thinking about it too hard!

You're not thinking hard enough, or at all. Obviously if he makes a habit of it, you should do something to stop him - or you really don't care about innocent people.
