[ you know, she supposes this isn't so bad. it's kind of nice to be able to keep things like this, as a reminder of something that lived, a reminder of the passage of time. she's not fond of death, especially the death of animals, but with the skull in her hands, jade supposes that she could, in fact, grow a fondness for them. maybe she'll spruce it up with a crown of flowers, give it a name. that might be nice. ]
