You eat some, too! Unless you don't like fish. I figured that at least, you must not hate it.

[it's hard for Geir to imagine someone hating fish, or any kind of meat, but he still can't always guess what humans will do. very strange creatures, humans.

he's a little taken aback at the suggestion of carving or breaking the bones, not because he feels any compunction about doing so, but because he hadn't even thought to. would that make them more volatile, more likely to vent their power in some explosion? or is it perhaps the opposite...? he tries to remember what exactly the Uvi did with them back in Aimintas.]

The Uvi, who were collecting them, never carved them. I don't think I saw the Palai do it after we got them back, either. I know the Uvi knew how to carve bone because of their weapons... I don't know if they were avoiding it for a reason, or just didn't think to.

I'm not sure what it would do. They can blow up if you put too many together, though. Be careful!
