About those messages we've been receiving from the government--if the danger to the coven as a whole doesn't dissuade you from taking their deal, the fact that it's almost certainly a trap should. Shehui is suspicious and fearful of magic, and they must know that we all have it by now. Why would they just let us live among them?

We've been placed in not one, but two situations beyond our control. The only advantage we have is our own numbers, so we need to stick together, take care of one another, and find a way out of this as a group.

If you haven't been following our conversations, we're working on a plan to free those of us who have been captured. Anyone with skills in fighting, reconnaissance, or infiltration who is willing to help should contact Dirk or Percival. Likewise, those of you who are in detention, please keep us updated on what's going on down there. We're working as quickly as we can.

Everyone else, stay close to others in the coven if possible. Be on your guard, and let us know if you get into trouble.

I've talked to both of them.

Helicopters...can you show me what you've seen? I've never flown one but they talked about them some when I was a cadet. All I remember is there was a problem with their maneuverability in comparison to what we were assigned to fly.

Much farther.

[It's just enough to visualize how it might turn and move. He will do a little more homework of course. With the kiss-ass campaign in full swing, he can get away with a little studying from a roof.]

Even commercially helicopters are a relic or outfitted with upgrades to make them suitable for the present era. The important part is I'll be able to stay ahead of them. I have better maneuverability.

Even if they're faster they have to rely on those rotors on the top and back to turn the craft itself. I don't.

Pending any surprises I can hold them for as long as I need to.

There's really that many of us that aren't familiar with these level of tech, isn't there? I knew, but sometimes the disadvantages don't always sink in.

...We've got some time. If you need any other clarifications about tech I'm not going anywhere.

That's generally what hacking is. It's not my field, but I understand the general logistics.

I left hacking and programming to my team's tech expert.

Actually, studying that helicopter a little more. That back rotor has to be how it steers. The upper one on the body looks to be what gives it lift and keeps it up.
