When he got control over himself, he could control this stupid magic of his that was given to him. He thought he'd be happy, getting back the gifts he was born into, but even with them, the storm inside had been roaring enough to keep him up night after night.

[ it's not bragging, really? he can sing. dave is aware he can sing. he wouldn't like go out for american idol but he knows he has a nice voice, even if he doesn't sing Much. ] Or I can think instrumental music at you, or lend you the thing - whatever.
