When he got control over himself, he could control this stupid magic of his that was given to him. He thought he'd be happy, getting back the gifts he was born into, but even with them, the storm inside had been roaring enough to keep him up night after night.

[awkward silence because he is definitely thinking he's gonna get hit at first sight]

[ a slight laugh, as he makes a guess as to what the silence is for: ]

I come in peace. My methods are unorthodox, but that's all that they are - methods, until you commit to them, otherwise it's all just talk.

[Mmm. He can probably believe that, but a more public area still might be better. As much as he hates it... So a sparsely-populated public area. Yeah.]

[Someone shut him down earlier and now he feels guilty, so... Might as well go near it to make some progress on that front.]

[ and off he goes. it doesn't take him that long, and when he's at the entrance, he gives him a mental push to let him know he's arrived. ]

[Lalli wishes he could say he was in the library, doing some work. He'd really like to be...and he tried! But lingering around the entrance had only prompted the librarian to ask if he needed help with anything, which spooked him off. Now he's milling around around the side of the building, chin resting on his knees while he waits.

Aha. There we go. Out to the front he goes... Well, there's one non-lizardperson here, so...]

giorno slips his hands into his pockets, smiling. ]

...Giorno, [he repeats, then sighs and shuffles over to be a normal distance from him.] I'm Lalli. Do you know what we're looking for?

Not to disparage you or anything but it's good that we didn't resort to fighting as soon as we've met - this is a lot more preferable, and anyway, less effort involved as opposed to causing a scene right outside the library.
