( Knowing there will soon be an attack on Aimintas, Emil made it a point to try and get the telepathic attention of the only friend he had from back home to make sure he was alright. After no response and a sharp pain in his signet, he'd set off to try and find Lalli, only to locate his comatose body in the deserted city.

It's not that he hasn't seen this before being that Lalli has Finnish Magic Weirdness running through his veins, but the fact that he knows there's apparently about to be some kind of attack later on in the day...Lalli please wake up, my man.

Things Emil has done to try and wake his friend up:

smooshing his face

holding his nose

slapping his face

shaking him gently

shaking him vigerously

yelling at him

trying to feed him fish

trying to feed him a bath bomb

Things that have worked:

none of the above

If he could have at the time, he probably would have asked more questions about Lalli's previous weird magic coma -- or maybe this is totally something different. Either way, Emil is panicking a little bit and he can already feel the heat of his magic going through his body. maybe being on fire will wake Lalli up )

Uhm...! ( His voice is shaky as it loudly broadcasts to the rest of the coven. Back home no one particularly gave a shit about Lalli being in a coma, but maybe someone here has more compassion. ) Can someone help me wake up my friend!?

( He knows you wanted to sleep bud, but now isn't exactly the time. )

Yeah. I know being asleep has to do with magic somehow, but I don't know how waking up works.

( Realistically it's something to do with magic as well, but he's trying his hardest here. This just proves his whole "magic is weird and not worth dealing with"
point. )

Crap. It might be something that has to be rode out then.

( It's not that Emil isn't confident in his ability to fend off a creature -- he has experience. But doing it alone with someone he has to carry to escape....it's hard to shoot anything with your friend in your arms. )

We can't just ride it out! There are some creatures about to descend from the sky any minute!

( His frustration isn't directed towards Waver, but just at this weird ass world in general. )

[Waver doesn't react well to being yelled at. He puffs up a little, and his own tone becomes more snappish.]

Even if he woke up immediately he probably wouldn't be in the best shape to fight! So what's probably better is to find a space spot for him and to either stay with him in case the Uvi show up, or get someone else to do that.

( What a coincidence, Emil also doesn't react well to being yelled at and also snaps and puffs. )

I'm in a pretty safe room, but that doesn't mean it's great that he's sleeping through a monster assault! He's just going to be dead weight and incapable of helping if they break through!

I didn't say it was great! But you have to work with what you've got, and I think that you're going to just accept that he's gonna need someone to stay with him and protect him since he is more than likely not going to wake up!

I planned on doing that anyway, but I'd just rather he be awake, is all!

( He understands what Waver means, so the loud shouting back and forth is essentially just dancing around agreeance, so he eventually sighs and Chills TF Out. )

This is just so frustrating. Not something I want to happen today of all days.
