So hey.
Look, I know we're supposed to be annoyed by them, and that they're super enthusiastic that they've probably rubbed you the wrong way, and maybe they got a little too energetic about pairing us up or feeding us all kinds of weird junk, or stolen something. But let's be honest for one moment. The Palai have been nice, welcoming, and sincere. They've taken us in, gave us a place to stay, and fed us. Sure you can say that you don't owe them anything, that you never asked for any of that, but in the end they did, and now they need your help.
The thing is, I'd feel guilty if something wasn't done about the most recent attack. It was random and unexpected and done in a time they weren't prepared for. So if you could find it in your heart, if you can give them just a little something to help out, I know that my conscience will feel a lot better.
Just... food for thought, I guess.

...can find something. I'm pretty good with machines. If I can maintain my mecha, then I'm pretty sure I can rebuild somethin' a bit more ordinary.
