Hey.

[It takes a little while for Elle to figure out the communication system here, but after a few more moments of trial and error, she thinks she's got it, and her voice that definitely betrays her age comes up the network of a kind.]

Tell me about the weapons you use, and if you have a spare or something lying around. Or is easy to make.

[She definitely has an ulterior motive for this question seemingly born out of boredom, but whatever the case might be, she certainly hopes for some good answers.]

He's a good guy. I don't think there are many people quite like that.

[So kind as to make one afraid for them.

Or, at least, that's how it feels to 9S]

Yeah, I think people like that really stand out.

[Or his world's just a cruel and brutal place when it comes down to it, but nothing wrong with appreciating a Nice Guy]

Either way, I'd agree with that. He's a good friend.

I guess it depends on what that magic really IS, but if you really have the power to protect people even without fighting, why would you ever have to fight?

[A small pause in his train of thought.]

...Then again, all the new magic seems kinda flaky. Maybe the axe would be a good idea. Is there anythin' you're used to using?

[Even though this Jude kid runs around with a weapon too, at least it looks like he has some sense.]

It doesn't but sometimes you just have to stick within your own limits. I mean, I guess there's nothing wrong if you want to practice while under adult supervision to build up some experience but no one is going to be happy to let you fight right away. So for now, do you think the two of us can come up with another way you can help? What's your magic?

Ooh, I like your spirit!

Really?

[ jude beams to himself. he can't help but like this ludger guy already. ]

Elle-style curry... Is there some sort of secret ingredient?

[ maybe... he can try to make it for her sometime, although if ludger and her father are so good at cooking he doubts he can measure up. he's not bad, though. ]

Well, I mean, you and Rollo do seem pretty nice...

Makes sense to me.

[He thinks he knows what she meant, but Elle's a nice girl herself, and Rollo seems perfectly affable in his book]

Has anyone on the network mentioned having a spare weapon of any kind yet?

[ Absolutely not. ]

Oh, dual blades are an excellent choice.

[ Not just because they were the primary weapons Hibiki mentioned. ]

I believe that Brie offered to make weapons once, but I'm not sure if she's still willing to do it. Maybe there's someone else...or, perhaps, you'll be able to acquire them in the next world.

Abso-friggin'-lutely! Swords don't have the same reach as guns. And they look way cooler when you twirl them.

Immensely, in my humble opinion. Bows are quieter, and the prey won't know they've been hit until they've breathed their last.

There's also the bonus of not picking bullets out of the meat, of course.

As for combat, you'd draw far less attention. A gun is far louder, I've seen, than someone conjuring a fireball.
