Hey guys, 9S here.
Recent events got me thinking we should have some provisions in place, in case of future attempts to abduct or imprison anybody. Units like 2B, A2, and me have black box signals we could detect, but as for you guys... I've come up with some tracking modules that you can activate in case you get in a tough spot. They just look like little round pins with stars on them, figure nobody'll give them a second look.
They're easy to activate and deactivate. All you do is press on the raised star shape for five seconds. Simple, right? They'll derive energy from your body heat, and don't need direct contact, so I think it'll work. I'd like to enable at least a few people to detect those signals, but you'll need equipment like my goggles or Dirk's uh, shades. So let me know if you're interested.
Also while we've got access to materials, if anybody has equipment or repair needs, just give me the details.
Private: Dirk
Hey, can I ask your help with something? It's...not really a small favor, but I think you're the most capable.
Private: Julius
There's something I'd like to ask you about, when you've got the time.
Private: 2B + A2
After recent events, I think we should make plans in case we sustain heavy or lethal damage. Can we talk about that?

You've mentioned them a few times, so you're gonna have to explain to me who YoRHa is, kid, or else I'm not gonna follow you on a few things. They sound like sticks in the mud, though, if they wouldn't let you mod your suit.
[God knows he let Shino paint his Graze bright fucking pink.]
I'd be happy to take a look at some of these things, if you ever have time.
Oh. No. They don't let me do that anymore.
Now I'm the guy sitting in the chair, telling everyone else what to do.

Not that Scanners like me are made for combat, but the others are.
[But when life gives you no active NFCS you just modify yourself]
But they don't let you? It sounds like you're commanding, but in that case, are you getting orders from somebody else anyhow?
I've got time though.

[Whatever an android's counterpart of a brain was. Harddrive?]
It would seem like that, wouldn't it.
Nah. As far as Tekkadan goes, it was all me. But that was kind of the thing: if anything happened to me, the whole thing would fall apart. They all knew that, so they were pretty insistent I delegate. So I spent a lot of my time behind lines, staring at radars and monitors, watching others fight for me.
It's probably for the best, though. The pilots for the suits we had are damn good.
[And Mika is probably the best, from Mars to Earth. He'd stake his life on it. He had, many times.]
I'll have to drop by at some point, then. Seems like all we've got nowadays is time.

[Because they're the only ones who can die over and over again and come back, so long as the provisions are in place. The only ones who aren't attached to their bodies and think nothing of winding up in a new one.
They were the same build anyway, what was there to be attached to?]
It sounds like the Commander. She was always in the Bunker too.
But I'd say that's pretty accurate. Feels uneasy after what happened.

An elite group, then. I see.
[They didn't really have anything like that, weren't anything like that. Tekkadan was a mercenary company of upstart space rats, after all.]
"Commander" is a much fancier way of putting it, but yeah. I tend to prefer "boss."
You're telling me. I was one of the people stuck in prison.
If I had my way I'd gun straight down their throats after all of that, but, well. I guess it's best I'm not in any place to give orders.

[Although he doesn't find that particularly satisfactory either]
Now that they've shown hostility though, seems best to stay on-guard. I'm not letting that happen twice.
