Hey guys, 9S here.

Recent events got me thinking we should have some provisions in place, in case of future attempts to abduct or imprison anybody. Units like 2B, A2, and me have black box signals we could detect, but as for you guys... I've come up with some tracking modules that you can activate in case you get in a tough spot. They just look like little round pins with stars on them, figure nobody'll give them a second look.

They're easy to activate and deactivate. All you do is press on the raised star shape for five seconds. Simple, right? They'll derive energy from your body heat, and don't need direct contact, so I think it'll work. I'd like to enable at least a few people to detect those signals, but you'll need equipment like my goggles or Dirk's uh, shades. So let me know if you're interested.

Also while we've got access to materials, if anybody has equipment or repair needs, just give me the details.

Private: Dirk
Hey, can I ask your help with something? It's...not really a small favor, but I think you're the most capable.

Private: Julius
There's something I'd like to ask you about, when you've got the time.

Private: 2B + A2
After recent events, I think we should make plans in case we sustain heavy or lethal damage. Can we talk about that?

[mmm awkward, emotions are hard.

Heyo, there he is in the garden, though, sitting on the ground with his legs stretched out ahead of him as he switches between a childish clicking of his feet together and folding his upper body down in an impressively flexible stretch.

Wearing only his boots had felt a bit odd, so Lalli's in full scouting uniform -- and maybe the gloves would be helpful to see as well, who knows. Both the boots and gloves are tight against him, flexible and formed to him despite having multiple layers to ensure that the clothes and skin underneath stayed free of contamination. The material is actually pvc on top of leather, and a softer, gripping material on the inside to provide insulation and keep them from slipping, in case it stretched out, maybe. Because yeah, definitely skintight and still meant to go over pants and a long-sleeved shirt. At the tops -- which are waaaay up there, dang these things are long and cover up the majority of his limbs -- are straps that can be adjusted to tighten them even further. Contamination is serious business!! Which is why the crafters sprung for the different materials used in making them, despite the cost that comes with using something rarer these days, like pvc and sturdy-but-precise rubbery soles. At least scouts tended to be smaller folk to cut down on the amount of material used.

The fingers of the gloves are a little different, with a layer less than the rest of his protective gear so that he could be even more dexterous should the need arise, and a lighter color primarily for aesthetic, but he'd like to think it's to help determine the true amount of muck that gets on him. The rest of his outfit (sleeveless, hooded jacket, long-sleeved shirt with a neckline that rises all the way up to his jaw, and pants) are definitely not as thorough, but working together create a certain amount of resistance to grime. Not...particularly effective against the elements, though, a touch more absorbent as a consequence of softer materials, and really...lacking sleeves... Like, gotta be compact and all, but this poor boy that gets sent out into eternal winter nightly.

When he catches sight of 9S, he raises his hand in greeting, but remains where he is. Gotta relax as much as possible, yo.]
