[Genette has provided everyone a portion of mirror, which they're free to do whatever they want to with it BUT the idea is that they introduce themselves to the telepathy network with a video feed, showcasing their face. Otherwise, the coven might just get an endless stream of grass, sand or hut wall.

If you're willing to commit to the exercise, here is your intro log for doing so! Hold up the mirror piece, introduce yourself and receive a broadcast from your fellow mages.

[she looks down for a moment, patting at her person in search of something — sadly, it isn't anything special, though. just an ordinary, if chipped, seashell.]

I'm sorry, I haven't had any luck finding your seashell ... I promise I'm going to keep looking for you, though.

[... actually now that she thinks about it, she could ask here, couldn't she?]

I wonder if anybody else has seen it.

It couldn't hurt to ask. Maybe someone has magic that would make searching easier?

What sort of power did you get, Xion?

I... haven't really used mine much, yet.

[It's somewhat awkward to admit. But she still doesn't quite know how to feel - both about her new powers, and about the absence of the old.]

But I think I can control water?

[boy, can Madoka relate. but she's desperately trying to remind herself that even though she can't access her old magic, at least she's still able to help in some way.]

That sounds amazing! Do you think I could see?

[W-well. She's startled by the request and it it scatters her thoughts a bit, especially the sadder ones.]

[Oh no, they've started a feedback loop.]

[oh geez Madoka's politeness got the best of her again — can she break the loop???]

[... sorry for the awkward silence for half a minute there. she laughs, a bit embarrassed.]

Whenever you're ready, I'm watching! [— but only if you want to aaaahhh Madoka fight the urge to say that out loud.]

[She isn't sure she can just... pull water out of nowhere, even if she gets this vague sense that there's some in the air around her (which is really confusing because she doesn't see any?]

I need to find some first. Maybe we can meet at one of the streams?

[ah, Xion could make her own thunderstorms.]

Yeah. See you then, Madoka.

[And she'll be waiting by one of the streams that's closest to the colored houses. She still has her mirror set up in her lap, talking to some others to pass the time.]

[Madoka's not too far behind! she runs right up to Xion, wearing a warm smile — she's excited to see what Xion's magic is like.]

Hello! Sorry for making you wait.

It's okay, really.

[It's not something that's bothered her at all, really. She's still a bit confused how much Madoka wanted to see it.

She's kneeling by the stream, a bit of water cupped in her hand. It doesn't look like much, but if Madoka's paying attention she might notice none of it' dripping out between her fingers.]

[she does want to see what her power like, for sure, but Madoka also just wanted to see Xion in person again. the mirror's nice enough, but talking face-to-face is so much better.]

[and so she crouches down next to Xion, watching the water in her hands curiously.]

What all have you been able to do with it so far?

Not a lot, but, um...

[Slowly, Xion turns her hand over, as if to dump out the water. Instead it hangs suspended, retaining its shape even, as if it were still cupped in her hand.]

[Madoka's fascinated all the same, reaching a hand out as if she's about to try to touch the water — she catches herself, though.]

Does it take a lot of energy for you to do this?
