[Genette has provided everyone a portion of mirror, which they're free to do whatever they want to with it BUT the idea is that they introduce themselves to the telepathy network with a video feed, showcasing their face. Otherwise, the coven might just get an endless stream of grass, sand or hut wall.

Some kinds, yes. The sheer variety and scale of it here have given me a lot of surprises today already, though! This island is nothing like I've ever seen, and neither are most of the effects that brought us here or were placed on us.

But--well--I can't use my magic right now, anyway? So even what's familiar will take some getting used to.

Have you seen a lot of different kinds of magic? I didn't realize there were that many, but then again before I got here I didn't realize it was real at all!

Did you lose your magic or does it just not work here?

It just doesn't work here. It's not...gone, I can feel it's still there, it just won't, ah. Happen. Seraphs mostly use the elements, too, so things like...making ice boxes appear and disappear, or that one guy who was just glowing? Those are still weird.

Are you from somewhere with a lot of technology instead?

Seraphs... isn't that a kind of angel? And I wonder, if you can still feel your magic, maybe it's that the elements are different here instead. Did you ask Brie or Genette about it?

Yes! Normally a conversation like this would happen over cell phones or maybe online but I don't think those even exist here, so your magic has one up on the internet at least.

Historically seraphs have been called heavenly beings, but, er, I certainly didn't come from, that is...it's complicated.

[he looks a little flustered, and tries to change the subject]

Brie's the one who was setting up the kitchen! She's got dark hair...

I think it's more of a nickname. We're all new here, and she's keeping an eye on us, so... sitting.

[ Like babysitting but like hell is Mitsuki going to acknowledge being babysat. ]

It's probably for the best I never called her that to her face.
