[OPENING] mass visual telepathy log

[Genette has provided everyone a portion of mirror, which they're free to do whatever they want to with it BUT the idea is that they introduce themselves to the telepathy network with a video feed, showcasing their face. Otherwise, the coven might just get an endless stream of grass, sand or hut wall.

If you're willing to commit to the exercise, here is your intro log for doing so! Hold up the mirror piece, introduce yourself and receive a broadcast from your fellow mages.

Greetings, my name is Hibiki Kohaku. Whoever can see and hear this, I'm pleased to make your acquaintance.

[It's a pretty straightforward introduction. Taking a moment to think what else he could say, Hibiki comes up with just this:]

Actually, I have a question to ask all of you. Do you happen to have something which may be used as a weapon? My blades are nowhere to be found and I suppose it's foolish to go around without a weapon of sorts. I'm willing to trade my items for whatever you have, of course.

Uh...my magic is drawin' shit and makin' it real, so I can. Maybe help?

Well...I can manipulate paper, apparently.

I'm still trying to figure out how to make this ability actually useful, though.

Well, depends. Can it be all sorts of paper? And manipulate it like...fly it around?

I suppose so, even though I've just been practicing on regular paper, the kind used in journals, to be precise. Fly around, shape and repair it. I cannot create it, as far as I know. Do you need paper to draw or perhaps the surface doesn't matter?

Surface doesn't matter too much so far as I'm aware. Maybe if you get like...really sharp paper you can cut people with it?

I believe that could be possible, yes. It's just a matter of polishing my skills, I believe. If you need sharp paper to cut someone, I'll gladly provide it as soon as possible.

[He's smiling even talking about cutting people with paper...smh]

Well, I don't, but I meant you could use it like that?

I could...and I'll consider it.

By the way, what have you drawn so far?

Lots of stuff. A brain, some sword scabbards, some clothes...

[Okay, that's a surprise. Clothes and scabbards aren't as unusual, but he's impressed anyways.]

Some people would benefit if you drew them one, I suppose.

Well, he combined it with a shell first to make it hard, and then with an enchantment from Rose that made light happen if you hit a thing twice?

[Believing that the explanation would actually make this clear was...silly, to put it mildly.]

So...magic, right?

Well, why not? We needed some way to test out how our skills worked.

Well...that sure was...an interesting way to go about it. I can't even imagine how it might look like.

Ah, has yours gone missing, too? I can't seem to find my hairpins anywhere...

[ yes, her hairpins are her 'weapons'. as crazy as it sounds? that's where her power's stored, and, well..they have some significance behind them besides that as well. ]

Unfortunately, yes. And I'm sorry to hear that your hairpins are gone. I have to say that it's an interesting weapon of choice, though. How do they look like? Have you tried searching through the supplies from miss Genette?

[Maybe they got mixed with some accessories...? It's just an idea, but their weapons must be somewhere out there, right?]

Oh, the hairpins store my powers in them, and then transform when I summon Shun Shun Rikka! It's a little hard to visualize, and I wish I could show you how they worked...

[ she shakes her head. ] I've searched through the supplies, but haven't found anything... I wonder where they all went?

It's alright, maybe someday you'll be able to summon... [The name wasn't that hard, but he's not sure if he memorized it right, so after a longer pause:] ...them.

[Is it a person? A ghost? A familiar? Hibiki can't tell and his guesses are as good as any.]

Tough luck. [He lets out an exasperated sigh.] Well, maybe miss Genette will find them one day? She seems to have a knack for collecting things.

Hopefully...but I will need my hairpins back, like how you need your blades.

[ orihime is entirely human! just. a human with spiritual abilities, whatever that makes her. ]

I hope Genette-san finds them... Until then, I guess these are our new powers, right?

I can find new weapons, actually but it's a whole another story with your hairpins. I'll keep my eyes open, just please tell me how do they look like.
