[OPENING] mass visual telepathy log
[Genette has provided everyone a portion of mirror, which they're free to do whatever they want to with it BUT the idea is that they introduce themselves to the telepathy network with a video feed, showcasing their face. Otherwise, the coven might just get an endless stream of grass, sand or hut wall.

"I see. I imagine f I still had things to do back home I'd also like to return. But I have already played my part and done all I can... I imagine you've already tried hopping back? I find that a great many powers work, new ones too, but when it comes to skipping across dimensions I seem to be lacking my most well known ability."

"And yes. I'm lacking my ability to leave as well. Alone with most of my own power. It's been a long time since I have been this... weak, I suppose. [Human. That is what he was going to say before he stopped himself. He hadn't been anything close to human. He could feel that way at times, rare moments when his mask slipped on the job and he wasn't the composer in that moment by someone else. This, this was different. It was having his position stolen from him by force, with no say in the matter and no explanation on how. It irked him to no end.]

I am not one to brag about the things I can and could do. But I was and am still a powerful witch. To have someone or something block my ability to slip to different worlds is a monumental feat.
I imagine you as well must be powerful. World hopping is no trivial thing. There are Gods that cannot even do it. I can't help but wonder what is out here in this world that is preventing us from leaving..."

"And I don't particularly care what is preventing us. I care how. For someone to be able to restrain my powers like this... clearly, we're dealing with someone, or something, that is incredibly far from human. In power, at least."

"I would agree that this is probably not a human. Humans have incredible strength and power especially in times of need but to stop someone like me and someone like yourself... I think not. And I lack a word for something more powerful as a God... but maybe that's just what we're dealing with. Or perhaps the very world itself? That might be an interesting how.
I think... I'll browse through that library back in the mansion and see if I can't uncover some history about this world. That's as good a starting point as any.

[That was how a lot of his power worked. He was inexplicably tied to the city of Shibuya, and right now he couldn't feel that connection. He suspected, if he was being kept here, eh would never truly be able to return to his own domain. Which was... not exactly a good thing, for both himself and for Shibuya.]

[And it makes a lot of sense. Being tied to a world must make you incredibly powerful though it has severe disadvantages as well... But it would explain why the two of them can't hop to a different world.
What this all boils down to though is that needs to know more about this world. Until some research is done they're just guessing wildly.]

"It's a pleasure~ I'll be sure to report anything I find out back to you. This world is nice and all but to have our original powers back would be better. We're able to go to different worlds for a reason, after all."
[Again, it doesn't matter all that much to her at this point. But he's made it clear he has important things to do. Usually dimension hoppers have important tasks. You can't just stop what you're doing. It could and can throw things out of order.]

[It's a part of the composer package. Having a bunch of cool things you can do but never will. His life was mostly spend in the role of the distant facilitator, rather than someone having great adventures or anything. The events most recently had been a great departure from that, something he had enjoyed,but they simply couldn't last. And he was ready to get back to business, even if he wasn't exactly keen on letting go, and yet now he was dragged here. Maybe it was some sort of twisted blessing, but whatever it was he certainly hated it. What was the point of going on something like this if he didn't have the power to do anything interesting?]
