[Genette has provided everyone a portion of mirror, which they're free to do whatever they want to with it BUT the idea is that they introduce themselves to the telepathy network with a video feed, showcasing their face. Otherwise, the coven might just get an endless stream of grass, sand or hut wall.

If you're willing to commit to the exercise, here is your intro log for doing so! Hold up the mirror piece, introduce yourself and receive a broadcast from your fellow mages.

[if everybody already knows about magic, it couldn't hurt to discuss her own, right? ultimately, everyone here has the same goal, so ...]

[she flicks her wrist, revealing a small, pink, glowing egg-shaped gem on the flat of her palm.]

This is a Soul Gem. Back on my world, it's a source of magical power — you use it to fight Nightmares. They're ... sort of like a person's negative feelings come to life.

[Madoka looks down at the Soul Gem, wistful.]

I guess it doesn't really do me much good here, though.

[He squints into the mirror. If he didn't know any better, he might've mistaken that little gem for your run-of-the-mill decoration.]

So you're already some kinda wizard, you fought nightmares--

--And you were sayin' there's nothin' interesting about you?!

[I mean, there's being humble, but she should be bragging about stuff like that!]

[Madoka probably wouldn't be able to brag about herself even if someone wrote her a guide on how, tbh]

Ah — yeah, I kind of learned that the hard way. Someone stopped and helped me, though. [she's not perfect yet, but she is well enough to be back at her usual cheerful demeanor.]

You didn't have any, did you?

Nah. I tried havin' a few back when I found that bathhouse, but it was hard to eat 'em with burned hands. Probably got off easy, lookin' back on it.

[Then again, his speedy recovery might have had something to do with his magic too. Hmm.]

Hey, can you heal yourself, or just other people?

You know, I didn't think to try it at the time. I suppose I could ... But for some reason, I can't seem to heal anything right now.

[Madoka will figure out within the next day or so that she's limited to using her magic to once every 24 hours — in return, though, she has the ability to heal pretty much anything.]

Well, you did say you just got sick, right? Maybe you're just exhausted.

Fortunately, as far as I can figure out, even if I'm not so good at healing I'm pretty at fixing that. Dunno if it'd help you heal again, but it'd at least make you feel better.

Oh — no, that's okay! I think I'll be fine if I just sleep it off, and there are a lot of people in worse shape than I am.

[she is pretty tired, now that Red mentions it, though. maybe he's right — surely her magic will be back tomorrow.]
