COVEN-WIDE TELEPATHY MESSAGE
Hello everyone! I hope that all of the new members are adjusting well and getting a hold on their magic. As you were informed earlier, we'll be leaving soon! Isn't it exciting? We'll be returning to the hub in a few days -- oh, many of you newer additions have never been. Feel free to ask questions about what it looks like and the living situation.
I'm mostly sending this little mental message to ask how everyone is doing with regards to collecting those magical bones Qri is asking for. I have about 30 that I have saved, and I'll pack them in with our things before we leave. Feel free to give yours to me and I'll keep them together for safe keeping.
Also, I'm always available if you need healing or to ask questions...to talk even!
Oh. This is Genette, by the way. Sorry, I should have mentioned that earlier!

My concern is simply about the children. I want to make absolute certain my next decision will carry no regrets until the future tells me otherwise.
That's why I find it really sweet of you to make that promise. Thank you. Even though I say that, I hope it doesn't come to it. I like to set something up for those children back at the hub to help you too. You shouldn't be solely responsible of our decisions made. Which is the reason I'd like to learn more about it. What's it like? And will it possible for the children to remain there while we travel to other worlds?

The island, you mean? It's livable, of course. No imminent danger, lush and forested. It has water and food available. If you're alright with living in huts, you'll get on just fine.
The children can of course remain there, but it depends on what development stage they happen to be at when we leave again. If they're still essentially toddlers, I'd say it would be unwise to just leave them to their own devices.

I understand. I know it can be like that, but in the case of looking after another living being...I guess I want to weight the options before I can make an informed one. I don't want to take a child to an even more unstable world than the one it was born in.
But I'm glad to hear there's food, water, shelter, and nature present. It sounds like a good place for a lizard child to adapt in. Since lizards usually lived in forested place and all.
Yeah, I promise I won't abandon a toddler or a small child while we're in another world for who knows how long. As long as it remains small enough to hide in my clothes, then I think it'll be okay to take it with me to other places that aren't used to advanced humanoid lizards.

As long as you keep up this attitude, your new baby will be well taken care of.

[She didn't expect the compliment and may have her burning a tiny bit since it's a little embarrassing. Nike was really thinking about her surrogate child's future!]
I hope so. After everything, as long as we forget the uncomfortable matchmaking schemes, I want this species to succeed. To survive and continue to evolve. That world needs them now that they're the majority. I only hope they learn to cooperate with the surviving Uvi to create a world their new young will be proud of.
[Maybe they'll be able to return to that world to survey their progress. It'd be nice to have a reunion with the children they were able to look after, even if they may not remember them. Even so, it was clear Nike has bonded with them.]
Anyway, thanks for answering all of my questions. I really appreciate the momentary attention, Genette.
