Tell me about the weapons you use, and if you have a spare or something lying around. Or is easy to make.

[She definitely has an ulterior motive for this question seemingly born out of boredom, but whatever the case might be, she certainly hopes for some good answers.]

Look, Elle, I just want — no, need — you to be careful.

Well, I'm plenty careful.

[There's an ounce of defensiveness to her tone now, unable to make proper sense of Jude's concerns.]

Don't worry too much about me, Jude. I'm a big girl now, and Daddy wouldn't have sent me off on an important mission if I weren't ready for it.

[Not that she had a particular choice for this one, but all the same, she thinks that the way she's handled herself thus far should count for something.]

Canaan... waymarker......

[ jude closes his eyes and rubs his temples. ]

None of it rings a bell. Nothing at all.

[Aww, and she hoped that might've jogged his memory somewhat!]

Do you have any ideas where your lost memory went?

If I did, I'd tell you.

[ there's something he's been wondering for awhile... ]

Were Ludger and I friends?

[travelles]

Yep! [She sounds really proud of this fact.] He's friends with everyone!

[talim]

Is that so?

[ a soft smile curves his lips. ]

Will you tell me a little about him? I'd like to hear it.

[travelles]

[She'll only be too happy to oblige.]

We're partners, and... he's kinda like you actually. Maybe that's why you get along. And uhh... he's good at cooking! His Elle-style curry's pretty tasty, though it's not as good as Daddy's!

[talim]

Really?

[ jude beams to himself. he can't help but like this ludger guy already. ]

Elle-style curry... Is there some sort of secret ingredient?

[ maybe... he can try to make it for her sometime, although if ludger and her father are so good at cooking he doubts he can measure up. he's not bad, though. ]
