Hey.

[It takes a little while for Elle to figure out the communication system here, but after a few more moments of trial and error, she thinks she's got it, and her voice that definitely betrays her age comes up the network of a kind.]

Tell me about the weapons you use, and if you have a spare or something lying around. Or is easy to make.

[She definitely has an ulterior motive for this question seemingly born out of boredom, but whatever the case might be, she certainly hopes for some good answers.]

I use a bow. They're fairly easy to make once you get right down to it, but making a long-lasting, effective one is another beast entirely.

A hunting bow understands that it will only be carried and used for hunts of prey. To take an effective bow into combat where you'll face magic, claws, teeth and so many other things all while firing as quickly and aggressively as possible requires some hefty modifications and treatment of the wood.

Immensely, in my humble opinion. Bows are quieter, and the prey won't know they've been hit until they've breathed their last.

There's also the bonus of not picking bullets out of the meat, of course.

As for combat, you'd draw far less attention. A gun is far louder, I've seen, than someone conjuring a fireball.
