[So. This is a Problem. Yusuke'd heard that there were vines to be found in the western part of the island and that a few people were gathering them because you can never have enough rope, and he wants to be helpful so he thought maybe he could do the same!

And then he got a little lost. But he found his way to the vines eventually!

And then he, like the easily distracted by art boy he is, got distracted and started toying with a few of the vines in an attempt to see if he could do anything with them other than use them as rope.

And now he's in trouble. Thank God for telepathy?]

If-if anyone can hear me, I've found myself in a...situation!

Think about me, and how you're sending me words. Then just make it pictures. Pretend like you're giving me photo stuff, because that's what it is, except over distance and in my head.

Still, that sounds simple enough. Yusuke doesn't say anything, just focusing on sending this boy what he can see.

It's probably not very helpful, but he's able to send Lalli the images of the forest he's in.]

[Wow, forest. Great. He's scouted every inch of the island, but even so, one blob of forest didn't distinguish itself much from another blob, especially though amateur telepathy by someone who was very obviously not a scout. Still, the density and light does give some hint... He can head out there, anyway.]

If you're new and don't know anything, what are you doing going off on your own, anyway?

In my defense, I didn't think these vines would be so grabby.

[Or: he just wanted to be helpful. The vines are evil.]

You're in a weird place that works weird. There's going to be dangerous stuff you don't know about.

They're plants.

There are lots of plants that can kill people, even if they aren't grabby.

They're not usually harmless green vines, if they're poisonous.

[lalliho]

Except these green vines weren't harmless. Lots of the plants look like regular berries, so I don't really know what you think is supposed to make something harmless or not...

Who eats random berries in the woods, though? Countless stories tell us that's a terrible idea. Nothing tells us to be wary of vines.

[lalliho]

A lot of people are really stupid.

[He's probably had to stop Emil from walking over to berries at random, tbh.]

And a lot of stories say not to go by yourself into strange woods. Usually monsters are in those.

I'm hardly the first person to come out this way for the vines, though. If there were danger, we'd have heard.

Rude. I don't see why it matters, but I can draw things and let them come to life.

Anything I drew with my feet would be useless. It comes to life looking exactly as I drew it.

It just has to have a knife for an arm and be able to stand...

And it would be clunky and made of dirt. Largely useless right now.
