I just wanted to let you know that 2B and I are doing renovations on that old house on the western side of the island. At the moment there's no water or electricity so it's probably not the most hospitable for humans...

But once it's in working order, this'll give us an outpost in this area.

Also we were discussing some hands-free lights for working in the dark. Devices like that would come in handy, right? Are there any other types of equipment you could use? Seems like during our downtime, that's something to work on. Maybe we can also establish what resources we've got at our disposal, too. We're a team and all, right?

I think you're right about that, on both counts.

It'd never hurt to have more metal, if we can find any around here. Seems like we're still feeling out what kind of resources we've got access to.

We were going to go look around more for things to eat, so we'll keep an eye out. I don't know much about looking for metal, though. Maybe we'll get lucky.

It depends quite a bit on the area, but usually ores are underground. This place may not adhere to the same realities of where I'm from though.

That's a good question... We were always on missions, but the times we got to relax, she enjoyed fishing a lot.

Although...personally, I think she'd like anything someone did with her in mind. She's a kind person but she doesn't think of herself as much as she could. That type, you know?

Our cave is near a stream... I'll check for fish. And... I'm not good at thinking of things, since I don't really know what people could like. But I'll try my best.

Hm...well, where we come from, there aren't restaurants or anything like that. Mostly it's fish, vegetation, or the occasional boar meat...

But never mackerel. There's this chemical reaction that uh. Well. Turns our blood to sludge and we're goners at that point.

No, it's just an android thing. I'm pretty sure humans don't have any problems eating mackerel.

The shortest version is that I'm living technology, but I don't know if that'd just sound even more confusing. I was made, rather than born.

Those're component parts, yeah. And circuitry's a pretty big deal in more sophisticated designs, like me or 2B.

Alloys and synthetic materials mostly, but I can always use more metal. It's good for equipment or repairs if we need to improvise.
