I just wanted to let you know that 2B and I are doing renovations on that old house on the western side of the island. At the moment there's no water or electricity so it's probably not the most hospitable for humans...

But once it's in working order, this'll give us an outpost in this area.

Also we were discussing some hands-free lights for working in the dark. Devices like that would come in handy, right? Are there any other types of equipment you could use? Seems like during our downtime, that's something to work on. Maybe we can also establish what resources we've got at our disposal, too. We're a team and all, right?

Depends. Swedes, Norwegians, and Icelanders are really weird! Even their military people.

Swedish people are stupid and don't believe in magic or gods, and I guess foreign mages go to school or something weird, but in Iceland they're just weird ugly sheep people that never cut their hair or learn their stupid jobs. Norwegians are just crazy.

[It's kind of unreal to think about...especially since he feels very othered, even amongst his own people. Finnish people... What were Finnish people like?]

Mmn. My hair and eyes. I don't know if I feel grey like how everyone else feels grey because I'm me, though.

[Part of the problem is that he said they were grey because he couldn't think of another way to describe it, so he doesn't really have words ready.]

I guess...I think of Finland, and I think of white snow and white trees with dark lines and green plants and brown food and red berries and yellow berries and blue, green, purple, and brown water, but... I think of the people and I don't. They're just grey.

Not really colorful. Like...lights and reflections. And feeling.

It sounds like it'd be nice to see.

[Not that there isn't water everywhere, but to see it in such a way must really be something]

[It's a simple enough task, with images of nature always clear in his mind -- he's more a child of the forest than of his people, at times. 9S will be treated to a few mental instances of water being...water, but at the same time almost vibrant with the life of not only the surrounding nature, but of itself. For a state of matter, the impression Lalli's thoughts give along with it is that it is indeed alive in a way. It has a spirit.

Not everywhere. Some places are really gross, and I guess there are big cities and stuff in the other countries? Keuruu is a big military base, but it's not like that at all.
