Hey.
[It takes a little while for Elle to figure out the communication system here, but after a few more moments of trial and error, she thinks she's got it, and her voice that definitely betrays her age comes up the network of a kind.]
Tell me about the weapons you use, and if you have a spare or something lying around. Or is easy to make.
[She definitely has an ulterior motive for this question seemingly born out of boredom, but whatever the case might be, she certainly hopes for some good answers.]

You're still too young to be handling something as dangerous as a weapon.
no subject
[She huffs.]
And even if I am, my big self should be able to handle it!

[ jude has never seen elle's magic in action, so... ]
Sure, but you're still a child. I understand wanting to stand on an equal level with the other coven members. I do. But like I told you, there are other ways to do it.
... And you shouldn't be accepting weapons from strangers in the first place.

[Still her in all senses of the word, except taller and bigger and more able to carry heavy stuff. Or so she thinks--she's only ever tried carrying Rollo and she's also able to do that even as a kid.]
'Sides, they're not strangers! We're all in the same coven!
[Whatever that word means. She's heard people use it to refer to them as a group, is all. More importantly, she completely sidesteps the issue of alternatives.]

[ says jude mathis, the most naive and trustworthy person alive. ]

[Everyone thus far seems to be of the nice and agreeable variety.]
And don't we all have the same goal?
no subject
[ this definitely isn't the first time elle has made him breathe out a defeated sigh. ]
Look, Elle, I just want — no, need — you to be careful.
no subject
[There's an ounce of defensiveness to her tone now, unable to make proper sense of Jude's concerns.]
Don't worry too much about me, Jude. I'm a big girl now, and Daddy wouldn't have sent me off on an important mission if I weren't ready for it.
[Not that she had a particular choice for this one, but all the same, she thinks that the way she's handled herself thus far should count for something.]
pretend that last part was in italics
[ well, this is news to him. ]
What kind of mission?

[ jude closes his eyes and rubs his temples. ]
None of it rings a bell. Nothing at all.
no subject
[Aww, and she hoped that might've jogged his memory somewhat!]
Do you have any ideas where your lost memory went?
no subject
[ there's something he's been wondering for awhile... ]
Were Ludger and I friends?

no subject
[ a soft smile curves his lips. ]
Will you tell me a little about him? I'd like to hear it.
no subject
We're partners, and... he's kinda like you actually. Maybe that's why you get along. And uhh... he's good at cooking! His Elle-style curry's pretty tasty, though it's not as good as Daddy's!
no subject
[ jude beams to himself. he can't help but like this ludger guy already. ]
Elle-style curry... Is there some sort of secret ingredient?
[ maybe... he can try to make it for her sometime, although if ludger and her father are so good at cooking he doubts he can measure up. he's not bad, though. ]
