Okay, let’s begin! This is an important message out for everyone to hear. Please listen up! This could be a good way to practice this new way of communication for those not used to it yet!
[Speaks up the resident ex-telepath and environmental sensor of her world. She has been listening to a lot of the new voices in the area. No worries she has been ignoring those revealing secrets or daydreams or what have you.]
My name is Nike. I’ve been in this adventure to other worlds for a good while now. I bet there’s a lot of questions and concerns many of you have. The whole thing can be pretty bewildering for those not used to world-hopping or living in areas that aren’t as natural as this one. That’s why we’re gonna try to help everyone as best as we can. Like securing everyone’s next meals since, well, we can’t expect our hosts to always feed us or to ration the food stuff they first give to you since it’s difficult to determine how long we’ll be here for. Um, I think our resident leader is here too. Actually, he’s next to me right now. Do you wanna take the reins?
[There is a choking noise at 'resident leader'. Jay recovers quickly enough, though. No promises about not listening to your revealing secrets.]
Right. I've talked to a few of you about this already, but what we'd like to do is set up groups for hunting, fishing, and scavenging or gathering. We're looking for people who have experience with those skills and are willing to teach them to others--or people who want to learn from their fellow coven members. Those of you with particular expertise may be asked to lead a group.
That’s right! This is all a volunteer service as well. We know not everyone is cut out to be a teacher or leader, so we’re asking for those with these skills to speak up to help form a group to specialize in these specific areas. The more people we have, the easier it’ll be to gather enough food for everyone in the coven. We understand there are those that don’t have any survival skills and many of you are new -- we want to help you to better adjust to your situation before having you join or do anything. Our goal is basically to help everyone remain healthy.
[While helping create a sense of unity which all is pretty much hinted.]
Also, we kinda want to figure out the current population of our members are too. Gotta know the size to figure out what would be a fair amount of resources to gather and share. Jay is in charge of that area. Since he’s been doing that stuff from the very beginning. Let him know if you don’t have any survival skills and/or if there’s an area you wish to learn. All those with any of the survival skills we’ve already mentioned that would like to volunteer, let me know! From there we’ll try to organize all of the data and have the group leaders give out the rest of the details.
[What else should she add before signing off?]
Oh, yeah, if you have any questions, then let us know here. Thanks!
(OOC: If you want your character to join on this without threading anything up, then please use this for sign ups.)

Hope it's not too late to hugely backdate this
[So she can better take care of herself and Curly and so on.]
never late! i am always up for backdating.
[Be it for survival or to help out friends and family, they are all good reasons to learn a new skill.]
Is there an area of expertise you're particularly interested in learning? We have all kinds. Like fishing, hunting, farming, and taste testing. Although, we're also accepting suggestions too, if you have any.

[She's feeling more than a bit awkward, as always when the topic of her inexperience came up.]
I've never really done any of those. Which would be a good one to start with, you think?
no subject
Personally, I'd suggest giving fishing, farming, or cooking a try. I find those three a good starting point for any beginner. They teach you all kinds of different skills. It really depends if you have a lot of patience and don't mind things being slow whenever it comes to fishing and farming while you have to be precise and be a quick thinker for cooking. But you'll definitely get your hands dirty with all three.
[Which she assumes may not pose a problem with the other girl, or she hopes to be the case. Maybe she should be neutral about this too.]
Either way, you can always try your hand on any of the skills available. I'm certain whoever is in charge of scavenging and hunting will help you out as much as the already mentioned groups. We're all going to learn and teach each other, so don't feel shy about trying whatever catches your attention. Do you have any preferences for the type of enviroment you want to be in or routines you used to do back home? Maybe we can find one that matches to what you're already used to or want.

[Some of Nike's explanation helps, but in the end Xion still... really feels fairly confused and overwhelmed. She still doesn't know a lot of what's involved in a lot of those things, beyond the theory.]
Back where I came from... I would be hunting and fighting Heartless. Monsters.
[As for the rest of it... she isn't sure but. The back of her head feels filled with the sound of waves.]
I don't remember my home, really, but. The world I loved visiting most had a beach. I'd get seashells there for my friend.
no subject
[That was a new one. She's never heard of a world filled with monsters by that name. Demons and carnivorous fish, yes, but not creatures without hearts, if she is to take its name literally. But, still, being told that someone doesn't remember about their home, it reminds her a little about Madoka and her own memory issues which will leave her feeling somewhat solemn about it since she won't be able to be much of help to her. All she can do is continue to look at the positive -- like the memory she does have.]
No kidding. Good to know that you can defend yourself. I guess you would be a good fit for the hunting group too. I hear the boars on this island are pretty tough to deal with alone. But since you seem more interested in the beach, maybe you'll like to join the fishing group! I know someone that likes sea shells a lot too. Enough to fall under an avalanche of them.
[She's can't help chuckle at the memory.]
By any chance, have you been to the beach yet?
thought I hit send ages ago orz
[She hasn't quite gotten to the one with actual water yet. She probably would have, but Curly had a way of eating up free time and attention.]
But, um... Fishing sounds like, um... [How should she put this...] I think I want to try it.
[It's the only way she can think to explain the odd way that it feels, maybe... familiar? It's not a sensation she can really put to words. Just a sense that it feels like the right thing to do.]
no worries! happens to the best of us.
[There may be a beaming smile at the thought of having one more at the fishing team. Too bad Xion can't see it, but may be able to feel it since Nike is feeling pretty happy about having another girl on the team.]
Okay, we can totally arrange that. Fishing isn't really hard, not unless you don't have much in way of patience, but you don't seem to have that issue.
[Since she sounds so calm...]
What's your name? I don't think we've ever met before, right?
no subject
I don't think so. I mean... I've been here a while but I've been busy lately.
[Parenthood of a small Palai baby was quite difficult enough on its own, let alone when your memories were frustratingly absent. She only hoped she was doing a good job.]
I'm Xion. It's nice to meet you.
no subject
[Since she was going to be in charge of them until she finds someone with more experience comes along.]
And it's great getting the chance to meet someone new while not so new. Looks like our trip back to the "base" has been somewhat useful. In getting almost everyone acquainted. Are you okay with everything? You don't need anything in particular, right? I know there's been a lot to do ever since we've gotten back...
no subject
[She'd been taking care of herself for a couple months now. She thinks she has it down? Of course, it's not just her own health and well-being that she has to contend with, which is where things get complicated.]
I guess... I guess I sort of worry that I'm doing everything okay with Curly, but...
no subject
[That name will catch her attention considering it sounded like a pet's name, but she can't be too sure. Considering she has a small lizard child that forced itself to travel back to the island than remain in their own world.]
Why are you worried? Do they need anything specific to survive on or is it something else?
no subject
They're a Palai, that I brought back from Aimintas. They asked a lot of us to look after 'em? Because um... because so many adults died.
[Xion is just... really bad at naming things, as it would happen.]
And I guess I just. I'm trying to do everything I need to, but I'm not sure if I know what everything is.
[She doesn't have any parental experience to really sort of base herself off of.]
no subject
[The explanation was enough to clue in over the reason behind Xion's apprehension over their child's care. It was definitely a concern that has passed through her own mind after her conversation with Riku on deciding to keep the child or not. Too bad he wasn't around to give her the same pep talk. Just the thought had her lamenting over his departure, but this was a good opportunity to pass off the good deed.]
But, you know, it's okay to feel the way you do. It just shows the amount of care you're giving to them. To Curly, I mean. I think it's the same feeling most beginning parents have after having a baby. No one is born to know what exactly is the correct way to raise and care for any kind of child, so all you can do is try your best, don't be afraid to experiment, and learn from those experiences.
[With a bit of a smile, most likely Xion will feel it more than see it.]
Do you and Curly get along?
