He said I'm too thin. I'm eating just fine. [More frequently and in greater quantities than he had back home, in fact. Not that it shows, thanks to any energy that would normally get stored instead being used for his passive insomnia magic.] I'm able to do the things I need and I'm not sick, so I'm fine.

Well, it's always better to maintain a steady, healthy weight, but if you're not sick and you're eating properly then I don't see the problem. I can understand why he'd be worried, though. He cares about you, after all.

[mmm some of this sounds like taking his side, but it's still taking Emil's side, too... he's Suspicious of this, but just placated enough. His tone is petulant, but more of a pout than a snappish whine.]

If he would trust that I know what I'm doing, he wouldn't be worried.

I can't speak for him, but I don't think it's that he doesn't trust you. It isn't really about trust. Like I said, he's just worried because he cares about your own well-being.

[He's...trying. It might not seem like it, but Lalli really is trying to not snap back immediately to shut Jude down. It's hard to suppress the urge to talk louder and longer when you feel like you're not being heard -- then again, his usual method was just to walk away.

This is someone that likes Emil, though, so... Okay. Big breath.]

...You can care without being worried. He doesn't have to be worried about my weight or what I'm eating unless he thinks I'm doing something wrong. But I'm not.
