Hello there.
This is Jay. If we haven't spoken yet, I've been with this "coven" more or less since its beginning, and I helped coordinate defense during the first Uvi raid. Feel free to ask me any questions you don't want to bother Genette or Brie with; a more informed group benefits us all, after all.
I'm talking to you all in interest of that, actually: a number of us have expressed that a comprehensive listing of everyone's abilities, particularly those granted us by Qri, would be useful to have. If you'll come talk to me about yours, either over telepathy or in person, that would be much appreciated. Genette should know about your Qri-granted power, if you don't.
I'll be in the house we're staying in for most of the day. Please do take care of yourselves, and be careful not to get shocked.
[Indeed, Jay can be found at a table near the entrance to the coven's house, with a stack of papers that read:
NAME:
CAN YOU FIGHT?:
QRI-GRANTED POWER:
OTHER POWERS:
He'll be handing them out to anyone who passes by, although what you do with yours is of course up to you.]
((a thing for you to fill out))

voice.
[ this has been an unhelpful update. ]

. . . and then the sound of laughter, slightly muffled, coming through the telepathic connection.]
Well, you're not wrong. I could be completely untrustworthy, and playing everyone who answered this survey for a fool.
Should I assume you're declining the opportunity to become one of them?
no subject
Oooh, and now you're admitting it! Is this a clever ruse to avoid suspicion or is this a confession no one will take seriously? The plot thickens!
But... I tend not to answer such prying questions from strangers, even the most famous ones.
no subject
In any case, I certainly can't force you to answer if you don't want to. Can I ask your name, or is that also a prying question?

I'm pleased to meet you, Magilou, if you'll trust my word that far.
[And indeed he sounds cheerful, engaged, like someone enjoying himself very much.]
no subject
Since I have you on the line, a girl's gotta know... why are you doing this?
no subject
You're welcome to come talk to me in person, by the way.
thanks dw????

[He's at the table, specifically, a stack of surveys by his side, scribbling in what looks like one of those black notebooks for gel pens.]
no subject
he's definitely not fitting the mental image she had, but then again, when does anyone ever? she saunters up to the table, arms crossed behind her head. ]
How studious of you.
no subject
[Almost automatic--he finishes a sentence and glances up for real, studying her. The notebook is shut.]
Hello. Magilou, yes?
no subject
[ she eyes him, hand on her hip, studying him just as much as he's studying her. ]
You're younger than I expected, kiddo.
no subject
[He does not sound like a middle-aged man, for the record.]
no subject
You wish. [ she twirls a long piece of hair around her finger. ]
Alas, I was expecting an adult, not a teenager.
no subject
I don't, actually. I like who I am.
no subject
You seem pretty harmless, so I suppose I'll fill out ... whatever this is.
no subject
[It's probably in his best interests not to say anything, but he can't help it. He hands her a survey.]
no subject
[ she winks, holding the survey up curiously. ]
Qri....
no subject
[He shrugs expansively.]
no subject
[ the smirk dies down as her eyes comb over the survey once again. ]
And I knew who she was. The mysterious enigmatic poor excuse for a witch.
no subject
You seem to have some opinions on what constitutes a 'witch.'
